Are you an organization or a researcher looking to collaborate with the Section of Family Planning on a study?
Researchers in the Section of Family Planning are interested in cultivating new collaborations with organizations/researchers conducting studies related to the following:

and many other topics!!
Our Section has a solid research infrastructure to carry out multiple studies simultaneously. Our faculty, fellows, and research staff come with a great deal of experience in conducting and coordinating clinical trials and longitudinal studies, regulatory management (understanding of FDA requirements and institutional review board (IRB) submissions, regulatory binder creation and maintenance), survey design and administration, quantitative and qualitative research, secondary data analysis, etc.
Through private family planning and pediatric gynecology, and resident obstetrics and gynecology clinics, we have the capacity to recruit patients for many different types of studies. We have our own research space in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology which comprises of several locked offices and locked cabinets to store research drugs/devices and study documentation. In addition, the Section has a clinic research room at the University Hospital that is solely dedicated to clinical research patient visits.
The Section also has access to the General Research Center (GCRC) which is an inpatient research center at the University of Chicago. It provides skilled research nursing, laboratory, and dietary support on its 8-bed inpatient, 4-bed outpatient facility. a centrally located nursing station with Hospital computer terminal, tube station and other standard amenities.
We look forward to hearing from you!!
